Malaysia Airlines, the national airline, has excellent connections to all the major towns and cities in the Peninsula. From Kuala Lumpur, which is the hub, tourists can head to Langkawi, Penang, Alor Setar, Kuala Terengganu, Ipoh, Kuantan, Kota Baru and Johor Bahru. There are daily flights to the two eastern capitals as well – Kota Kinabalu (in Sabah) and Kuching (in Sarawak). What’s more, there are other airlines that can take tourists to Tawau, Labuan and Sandakan.
