The Rainforest World Music Festival is held on the second weekend of July annually.

Set in the tropical rainforest of Borneo; be amazed by the scene and sounds of the inimitable acclaimed Rainforest World Music Festival. Lit up by the stunning floodlit rainforest canopy of Mount Santubong, the outdoor stage comes to life in the annual three-day spectacular music event performed by local and international musicians alike.

The event features afternoon informative workshops, ethno-musical lectures, jamming sessions and mini concerts. The highlight of the event is the evening performance, which has proven to be a hit with the audience.Enjoy the sounds of the world ranging from intricate indigenous rhythms to remixed pop chart toppers. Past festivals include performances by Inti Illimani (Chile), Muzsikas (Hungary), Akasha (Malaysia) and many more.

The festival site also has a variety of food and drink stalls, arts and crafts area, a counter for memorabilia, Sarawak souvenirs and CDs by the performing artists. You can choose to sit on the open grass lawn or find a secluded spot on the longhouse terrace to experience and enjoy the Main Stage concert at your own leisure from this wholesome World music festival.
