Telang Usan Hotel

Telang Usan Hotel was opened in 1989, being the first Orang Ulu owned and managed hotel in the world. It was initially built with a vision in mind, namely, a hotel service that reflected the gracious hospitality of Sarawak as well as its affordability.

The hotel also provides job opportunities for Sarawakians and is able to train the locals about the demands and the professionalism of the industry. Guests can enjoy not only the ethnically authentic decoration, but also the original Orang Ulu cuisine! It is an ideal location for business and leisure travellers. The Telang Usan Hotel was awarded 3-star status by the MOCAT (Malaysian Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism)

The function rooms hold a capacity of 100 persons in theatre style and 250 persons in banquet style. The rooms also come equipped with an overhead projector, a slide projector, microphones, videos, a television, a whiteboard and flipcharts.

Late check out policy:
Subject to availability and is chargeable.

Policy on children staying with parents:
- Maximum two (2) children below 13 years old stay for free with parents occupying the same bedding
- Extra bed is chargeable
- Breakfast is chargeable

Cancellation Policy:
- Any cancellations made 14 days or more - 10% cancellation fee will be applicable
- Any cancellations made within 14 days, one room night charge will be applicable.
- No Show cases - 100% of the total amount will be charged.

Other disclosures:
All confirmed bookings will be auto-released in instances where the full payment is not received and cleared. Any re-instatement of bookings will be subjected to space availability.
