Get a chance to observe the wild Orang Utans coming out of their natural habitat for their feeding time. The Orang Utan are only found on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra and the only two surviving species in the genus include the Bornean Pongo Pygmaeus and the significant almost extinct Sumatran Pongo Abelii. You will get to learn more information about these two species of endangered Orang Utan on the tour.

Itinerary

In the morning at 8.00am or in the afternoon at 2.00pm, depart from your hotel and start your journey to Semengoh Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, which is 40 kilometres south of Kuching City and will take approximately 35 minutes. When you reach your destination, you will be able to watch and study how the Orang Utans come out of their natural habitat to feed.

Your guide will give you information and further details about these endangered animals and how local authorities are trying to protect and conserve their existence. After the tour, you will then head back for another 35 minutes drive back to the city and to your hotel.
