Permai Rainforest Resort was established in 1990 and is a unique resort with its own identity, untouched natural beauty and rich biodiversity. It is an eco-resort set in the immaculate Borneo rainforest next to the shores of South China Sea and at the foot of Mount Santubong. It was designed to reduce the impacts on the natural environment.
Guests will be able to enjoy and participate in numerous recreational activities at the resort and its surrounding area such as jungle trekking, sea kayaking, high rope adventure and course, mangrove cruise and dolphin watching. A stay at the resort offers something for everybody!

Facilities & Services
The resort's main restaurant, Rainforest Café, is located on the hillside part of the resort and provides the magnificent view of the seaside from the trees where you can occasionally see a snake slithering among the trees or a squirrel hopping from branch to branch.
The café offers Western and vegetarian dishes as well as being halal and MSG (Monosodium Glutamate)-free. Local specialties include garlic butter prawns, midin belacan (jungle fern cooked with shrimp paste), pansuh ayam (bamboo cooked chicken) and roti canai (Indian flat bread). Food can also be alternatively served all over the resort, depending on guests' requests.
The conference rooms include the Belian Room, which can accommodate 120 persons in theatre style and the Embang Room, which can accommodate 40 persons also in theatre style. For larger groups, there is the Jungle Hall, able to accommodate 200 persons in theatre style and 130 persons in banquet style.
