3D/2N Bako National Park Package

Day 1
At 8.30am on the first day, depart from your hotel to indulge on this 2D/1N Bako National Park Tour. The Bako National Park is one of the oldest national parks in Sarawak and is located about 38 kilometres away from Kuching City.

A picturesque drive from your hotel will take you to Bako Fishing Village Jetty where you will take a boat ride along the sea and river leading you to the Bako National Park headquarters. Here, you will trek the trails and will be able to spot proboscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys, bearded pigs, monitor lizards and over 100 species of birds. Due to the vast variety of birds around the area, lots of tourists do bird watching so it comes highly recommended. Exotic plants such as pitcher plants and wild orchids of all kinds can also be found along the trails.

After your tiring trek, head down to the park canteen for lunch and dinner. Your overnight stay will be spent at the park lodge.

Day 2
Opt for an early morning to be able to search for wildlife with the guides.

Breakfast will then be served at the park canteen. After breakfast you will be able to go on a guided trek along the Lintang trail which has a length of 5.25 kilometres and takes about 3 and a half hours where the guides will introduce you to the wild plants and vegetation type in Sarawak. Along the sandy paths of the plateau you will be able to find pitcher plants. When you reach the resting point, you will be able to experience the magnificent view of the mangrove forest and rock formation in the sea.

You will then head back to the park headquarters for lunch at the canteen and after that you can explore the park by yourself or take a guide with you to another one of the short trails. Dinner will later on be served at the canteen and you will stay another night at the lodge.

Day 3
After breakfast at the canteen in the morning, you will get the opportunity to explore the shorter trails of the park before you head back to the city after lunch. After lunch at the canteen, a boat will bring you back to the Bako Fishing Village Jetty and return to Kuching City.
